At OneNature, we recognize that the existing research around the value of nature is incomplete.\u00a0 It generally ignores the value of wildlife within natural systems and to human well-being. We have designed studies to fill this research gap, and quantify the importance of wildlife and biodiversity in new ways.\u00a0 We partner with leading academics who analyze existing data, conduct novel research, and produce a robust and repruducable way to value contributions of wildlife to human well-being.<\/p>\n
Armed with this important data, we are developing a set of\u00a0well-being indicators and practical recommendations for individuals and policy makers. Better information on the true values of wildlife will help decision makers prioritize global policies, funding and projects to secure the benefits and minimize the risks to the well-being of people, animals and the planet now and for future generations.<\/p>\n
Once research is completed, it will be shared as widely as possible through peer-reviewed academic publications, as well as more accessible reports, videos, and digital formats, spreading the fact-based knowledge that wildlife matters and that we need it to thrive.<\/p>\n
