The United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity, also known as the <\/span>CBD COP<\/span><\/a>, is a conference dedicated to <\/span>developing a Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework. This doctrine outlines what nations must strive for in order to <\/span>live in harmony with nature<\/span><\/a> by 2050. The Global Biodiversity Framework will hopefully serve as the basis for all countries to make policy decisions that will restrain and reverse the global biodiversity crisis.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Biodiversity plays a crucial role in human health and well-being, economic growth, and food security, among other critical areas. <\/span>Biodiversity impacts every corner of our lives<\/span><\/a>, which is why safeguarding biodiversity is of the utmost importance to ensure humans and the earth can live a thriving and healthy life well past 2050.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
