OneNature’s Beth Allgood, John Waugh, and Dehara Weeraman, in collaboration with Craig A. Talmage and Laura Musikanski, were recently published in Mongabay’s Indigenous Peoples and Conservation series. In the article, the authors discuss carbon credit schemes, the advantages of data-driven community involvement strategies, and their proposed framework for measuring the impacts and benefits on the communities of carbon initiatives.
