OneNature was featured on the IUCN US National Committee website as a new member.  We are proud to have been an IUCN organizational member since 2023. OneNature President, Beth Allgood, is one of three co-chairs of the Policy and Strategy Subcommittee of the US National Committee and an individual member of three IUCN Commissions.

The International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN), created in 1948, is now the largest and most diverse environmental network in the world with over 1400 member organizations. The US National Committee of the IUCN was created in 2017 to promote cooperation among all US IUCN members to facilitate their contribution to the program and governance of IUCN.  The US National Committee of IUCN provides a platform for all US IUCN Members to discuss and collaborate on programs and initiatives

The US National Committee aims to create “A robust and engaged IUCN US membership that contributes to IUCN’s vision of ‘A just world that values and conserves nature.”

OneNature brings a focus on human well-being to development, conservation, and climate projects, supporting transformational financial, programmatic, and community outcomes. We expand understanding and awareness of the well-being/conservation connection through data and stories that inspire hope and create transformational change. With our expertise in data-driven, well-being-focused conservation methods and approach to understanding the material and nonmaterial benefits of wildlife and habitat to communities, our commitment lies in sharing our unique practices and understandings with the IUCN community in hopes of impacting well-being and equity policies in conservation and contributing to the IUCN knowledge base.
